A Costly but Valuable Lesson for Best Wireless Routers

A typical home network in 2017 does not look like in 2011. In most routers, you must make two separate names for the network, such as "mynetwork2.4" and "mynetwork5", and then select the device that must join that network. If you do not give your networks different names (CSID), practically all of your devices will eventually accumulate in the 5 GHz band and will experience slower speeds, delays and even lost connections when many of them are online and busy.


The band address, specifically for load balancing, allows you to use a single network name for all your Wi-Fi bands, and allows the router to select devices that operate at 2.4 GHz and of which at 5 GHz, depending on where they are at home. And    how much bandwidth they use. Banding is necessary for network networks, which have multiple access points and multiple bands to deal with, but it is even important in independent routers, because if you do not use all the radios in your router, you do not get all the performance you need.



We tested this function very carefully. Unfortunately, some router address routers theoretically have a misunderstanding that the device must be connected to a "stronger" signal, which ends up locking everything in one 5 GHz band again. Our choices are smarter than that. The three-band routers have an additional 5-band range, as well as the 2.4GHz and 5G bands for a dual-band router. This allows more devices to connect and give you bestwireless routers performance as you want. The direction of the load-balancing band becomes more important with three-band routers: that the extra radio will not do anything good if none of your devices are actually plugged into it. We would advise not to spend extra money on three wave routers, but congested networks in busy areas could certainly benefit.
